We’ve already told you how the fall became something more for Katya Egoreichenko from HOMD Media. She is not the only one. More and more tops are choosing the court instead of coffee in the office – because everything becomes clear on the padel without further ado.

This time, we have a new story about Sasha from AFFHUB, who first came to the court just “for the company”, and now she can’t imagine her week without playing, meeting new people and the very wibe that keeps everyone here.

For Sasha, Head of AFFHUB, padel is not just a sporting hobby. It’s a way to reboot, keep the rhythm, meet like-minded people without unnecessary words, and forget about the officialdom for at least an hour. It all started with a casual meeting, and over time it became an integral part of life – with each game, there is more energy, inspiration and a sense of unity with people.

The first time I attended a padel tennis match was on January 12 this year at the Affiliate Padel Club & Slots City event at UNIT.City. I just came to support my friends and network, but I immediately felt the special energy of this sport. This vibe was so strong that a few days later I went to the court with a racket in my hands. From that moment on, everything changed.

I used to play tennis before, but after my coach moved to another country, I started looking for something new. Padel fascinated me from the first set – the dynamics, atmosphere and sense of team play instantly drew me in. It’s the perfect balance of sport and fun – exactly the format that allows you to keep your body in shape and your head free.

One of the main reasons why padel became so close to us so quickly is its openness. Padel is open to everyone – there is no division by gender or age. Players with different backgrounds meet on the court, but they are united by one thing – their love for the game. It doesn’t matter who you are off the court – it only matters how you play, support your partner and keep the rhythm.

It’s an environment where it’s easy to meet people, and although I haven’t been playing for long, I’ve already felt the power of padel networking. A special community is being formed in Ukraine, where sport becomes a bridge for professional and friendly ties. And thanks to this informality, these ties are often stronger than official ones.

Even participating in amateur tournaments opens up a new level of pleasure. It’s too early for me to play professional tournaments – I need to train more. But the Affiliate Padel Club competitions are an incredible mix of everything: healthy excitement, pure fun of the game and a warm community atmosphere. People come to compete, but stay for the sake of socializing and the energy that prevails there. This is the case when after the match you don’t want to run away, but continue the evening together.

It is not surprising that it was in the affiliate environment that Padel became “his own” so quickly. I understand why. We all appreciate the dynamics, quick decisions, and teamwork. Besides, it is a great alternative to classic business meetings: it combines physical activity and professional connections in the most relaxed atmosphere.

For me, padel is a cocktail of adrenaline, new acquaintances and a sense of community. It is my personal anti-stress. Even when something doesn’t work out, you still feel like you’re in the right place, with the right people.

And if you’re just looking at padel, just take the first step. Sign up for a trial lesson with a coach. Wear comfortable shoes, don’t worry about mistakes, and have fun. Padel is quite easy to learn at a basic level – from the very first games you will feel the joy of accurate shots. Join the Ukrainian padel community – new enthusiasts are always welcome here!
