You just throw in a couple of sentences off the top of your head and the text for the site is ready. Just select, CTRL+C, CTRL+V, and you’re done. You can post hundreds of texts in one day!

But it doesn’t work that way. And with experience, we see that websites with texts generated by ChatGPT rank much worse (if at all). Search engines are said to like the author’s original content with expertise in the field. And Google recognizes text written by a person or AI in seconds. There are already a lot of detectors on the Internet that can determine the percentage of text written by artificial intelligence. Do you think that such a large corporation as Google hasn’t learned how to do this yet?

Yes, we know that there are already services like Humanizer that will rewrite text created by artificial intelligence and make it appear more like human-writen in style. But it’s not accurate… And it doesn’t always work… And it’s too much trouble, to be honest.

How should you ideally work with texts for a website?

Ideally – pay a copywriter. There are a bunch of freelance platforms on the web (Fiverr, for example) where you can find a copywriter for a reasonable price. The advantage is that there are native speakers who live in the GEO you need and know how to influence the local audience.

Prices, of course, are very different, good copywriting starts at 5 euros for 1000 characters, but you’ll learn more with experience. The only way to find a good copywriter is through trial and error.

We should note that even if you use the services of a copywriter, you still have to give them a clear Technical Task. To do this, you need to describe the main topic of the text, collect search keys, parse titles from other sites, give the copywriter references, and specify the size requirements. So you seem to save time on writing the text yourself, but you still invest your time in it.

In the beginning, it can take a lot of time, but later, when you already have experience in writing a Technical Task, the process will go much faster.

What if you want to save money?

We understand that at the start of your business, you want to invest as little as possible. There are several options here as well:

1. Write the text yourself.

If you are a native speaker of the language in which the site is being developed, you can, of course, prepare the text yourself. To do this, select search keys, for example, through Google Ads Planner, look through competitors’ sites (Ahrefs, Semrush), analyze the keys they are using to promote themselves and choose the most interesting options (low or high frequency). Then you can parse the titles with Web ToolBox and adapt them for your content, there is nothing criminal about it. Important! It’s about editing, not just copying and pasting them to your website. You only need parsing for an example and to understand what to focus on when writing H1, H2, and so on.

After that, you can submit the text for editing on one of the platforms, or use AI to edit the text and detect errors. Of course, if you are saving money, you can skip this step. Then you can consider your text ready, and you can check its quality and Google’s rating over time.

2. Write a text using AI and send it to a native speaker for editing.

If you are not a native speaker, you most likely will not understand a word in the text generated from AI. Taking this raw text and throwing it on the landing page is a very risky venture, so it is better to give the text for proofreading to a person who understands the “hieroglyphs” written by artificial intelligence.

In general, editing is cheaper than writing a text from scratch, so it is also a good option for cooperation. The only thing is that you will still have to invest your time in writing a detailed Technical Task, for example: which keys should be left exactly as they are, which can be rephrased, and so on.

There are already many artificial intelligence detectors, so it is not difficult to recognize text written by ChatGPT. An editor can solve this problem by rewriting the text to look like human-written. That is, generate half of the text through AI, and order half from a copywriter. Many SEOs use this method, because Google is unlikely to focus on the whole text on the site when ranking, and this way you can save a little on copywriting services.

4. Entrust the writing and editing of the text to artificial intelligence and make it unique with the help of third-party AI services.

Well, this is a more solo way to work on the text. However, it is not the easiest. Here is the action plan:
