Danylo could have become a sailor and spent his life sailing. But he made a bet on online gambling when most people did not believe in its future. The risk paid off: today he is the Founder of 21stGold, building a systematic business in arbitrage and marketing, and is convinced that the real game is “long”.
In this interview, he shares what really distinguishes a C-level from a manager, why AI is not a replacement but an ally of the team, and how one right networking can solve more than a budget.
It’s a conversation about honesty, trust, risks, and the inspiration people give. And also about why business should be perceived as a marathon, where the main thing is not to burn out at the start, but to reach the finish line stronger.
C-level is, in fact, the “head”. This is the curator of the direction, a person who takes responsibility not only for today’s result but also for the long-term prosperity of the department and the company as a whole. The task of such a manager is to look beyond the end of the week or month: he or she must understand where the company is headed and where it should be in a few years.
A C-level manager controls how each employee works, helps the team develop, builds effective processes, and is ready to make risky decisions to ensure business growth and its real results.
The most risky decision for me was the very beginning. I was studying to be a sailor, and everyone around me was sure that my path was voyages and life at sea. But inside I clearly felt that this was not my story. I set a goal to do everything possible to avoid going on a voyage.
Then I started looking for other ways to make money, especially on the Internet. It was already clear that the future belonged to online opportunities. This step became a turning point: it led me first to marketing, then to arbitrage, and eventually to creating my own business.
Honesty and transparency are key for me. If I earn, the team earns. This is a basic rule that builds trust and shared motivation.
I am not a fan of micromanagement, because it kills initiative. I am convinced that strong people create a strong system. The task of the leader is not to control every step, but to give space and opportunities so that the team can unleash their potential and build this system together.
AI tools need to be implemented today, as the first to do so gets a bonus in terms of time and speed. This gives a competitive advantage that is difficult to catch up with.
Traffic quality is becoming a key factor in long-term relationships: advertisers have learned to count, analyze, and clearly see the difference between gray quantity and real value. As the cost of traffic grows, those who can test quickly, remain flexible, and ensure consistent quality will win.
Arbitration today is no longer a story about “quick money”. It is about consistency, strategy, and the ability to build processes for the long haul, turning the industry into a professional business rather than an occasional income.
For me, a brand is primarily about trust, honesty in communication with the audience, and respect for people. Without this, any external attributes will have no value.
A strong HR brand becomes the foundation of a professional team, because strong specialists always go to strong companies. And the task of business is to highlight these values correctly, show them in the media and make them visible to all market participants.
Long and stable work in the market is not only a plus for reputation. It is the main signal for investors and partners: you can build long-term and reliable relationships with this company.
The book Rework has had a huge impact on me. She taught me not to spread myself thin and to boldly cut off everything unnecessary. Her main message for me is simple but very effective: business is a marathon. It is impossible to burn out on the first lap. You need to be able to keep up the pace, calculate your strength, and move systematically to come to the finish line stronger than at the start.
Don’t try to carry everything on your shoulders. Delegate faster and don’t be afraid to trust people – this is what opens the way to growth. Value your time and don’t waste it on toxic people. It is better to be alone than to be around those who drag you down and prevent you from moving forward.
AI has already made half of the tasks for designers easier: new opportunities for creativity, funnel building, and testing approaches have opened up. We are actively implementing AI in our routine processes of working with texts, analytics, calculations, and other tasks. But the principle is important: for us, AI is an assistant that helps an employee, not a replacement. It is this balance that allows us to remove unnecessary burden from the team and give them more space for strategic and creative tasks.
I am inspired by people and their growth. When I see a newcomer investing his first $100 with fear and then making thousands of dollars in six months, it’s a real boost of energy. Such stories show that everything is possible if you have the desire and perseverance.
Competitors also motivate. If they are growing, it is a signal that the market is alive, it breathes and opens up new opportunities. Healthy competition always creates progress and pushes all industry participants to develop even faster.
Do not believe in “miracle schemes” of earnings, because they simply do not exist. All work is based on tests, consistency, and your own mistakes. Losing money is not a defeat, but a payment for experience. The main thing is not to give up, draw conclusions and move on. The result will definitely come.
Another key point is networking. In this area, networking sometimes matters even more than the budget. Therefore, build relationships, meet people, share experiences, and this is what opens the door to great results.
