In the first part of our December playlist, we learned what makes colleagues immerse themselves in work, catch focus, and try not to dance under Zoom circles. But December is long, and the mood changes every day — from “EBS mode” to tangerine comfort. So we continued to ask the team about the main thing: what they are listening to right now.
This is the second part of our December musical playlist, where each track has its own character, each genre smells of the holidays, and the answers are as lively as December itself.
Let’s go listen further.

Listen, when it comes to generating ideas:
We listen when we make big plans, and they are sure to come true:
We listen when we turn on the EBS mode, we fly into work chats

Usually, piano music. Classical music keeps me focused. Because as soon as I turn on something else, I either get distracted by new ideas or suddenly feel an urgent need to dance.
Even now: I’m writing you answers, and Nothing But Thieves – Trip Switch is playing in my headphones. And, honestly, it’s very hard to restrain myself. But I love you very much, so I’m keeping myself under control as much as possible.
Although you can probably guess what I’ll be doing for the next five minutes after this message.

Imagine Dragons — Whatever It Takes

Definitely Mariah Carey “All I want for Christmas is you”!

Oh, well, it’s always the music from “Harry Potter”: it turns on the New Year’s vibe already in December!

Absolutely anything related to jazz! For example, if you have a record player, I highly recommend this album: Kamasi Washington — The Epic. Put it on in the evening, with some lights and a glass of prosecco in your hands — it’s the perfect mood.

Michael Bublé — It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas. Even if it’s been played a thousand times, the first chords immediately bring the smell of mandarins to mind.

I can’t focus if there are third-party sounds, but I like to listen to Tame Impala tracks all the time!

Drama!)

In the first half of December, only hard rock. And in the second half, I smoothly transition to jazz. It’s a kind of musical ritual of the month.

It would be indie folk with a touch of jazz: something warm and cozy, but with a cool undertone of melancholy.

Oh! For December, I’d definitely pick a new, non-existent genre 🙂 Because it has it all: drive, calm, and a hint of panic!
