In 2024-2025, phishing sites will massively use generative frameworks to create full-fledged corporate wrappers. This is called facade building – faking brand trust using a template.

Domain verification (Whois, creation date)

I looked at the date of registration – if the domain was created yesterday, it’s already alarming. The Whois shows the country, IP, hosting, legal entity, and this was enough to catch something like “registered in China 4 hours ago”. One quick check could save a lot of time. Nowadays, Whois is not a detector, but a fiction: the country, owner, and email fields are closed by default, which is already a standard for most registrars. More clever schemes are being used:

  • Proxy registration. The domain is bought through other people’s accounts, fake data, or services that do not show anything extra. It looks old, but in fact it is a yesterday’s purchase.

  • Mass registration. One scammer can have 50+ similar domains for different connections – each with a separate Whois, IP and page.
  • Purchase in advance. The domain is bought out in advance and kept “on hold” for several months so that it does not look suspiciously fresh on the launch day.

On forums, scammers discuss the “optimal age of a domain for trust” and make lists of “dropped” old sites that can be used anew. Today, even the date of creation is no longer an argument.

Google check: brand, offer, reviews

Once upon a time, a single search solved everything. You google the name of the brand/offer → you see mentions on forums, YouTube, maybe even arbitration cases or warnings from those who have already been “caught”. Nowadays, the reputation picture is formed in advance and on purpose, with a full simulation of the “live background”:

Telegraph, Discord, mail – are there really people there?

It all started with a simple message – and the verification was ready. You write to TG, look: the account is old, online, as it is worded. It looks like a human, so it’s okay. At the same time, you check the mail: does it exist? Does it sound corporate? But now the rules of the game have changed:

  • The Telegram “manager” has a photo, a legend, a chat history, and assigned voice memos – everything is either customized or collected from previous interactions.
  • Ali-bots are spreading: they speak by voice, adapt to the dialog, and send pdf presentations generated in Canva.
  • Phishing via email: the address looks solid, but the domain is 5 days old, there is no SPF record, all activity is fake.

  • trigger words (urgent, bonus, fast, trust, profitable);
  • imitation of corporate vocabulary without real structure or legal features;

Model output: high risk of manipulation. Behavioral patterns are consistent with scam narratives: appeal to trust, social proof, and time pressure – without any specifics.

Vector Search: identifying similar cases
